Canton's 2026 Town Election is

Tuesday April 7, 2026

Vote by mail is available for the Town Election.
Voters wishing to Vote by Mail MUST submit a new application each year; if you voted by mail in 2024 or 2025, you will need to submit a new request for 2026.
The deadline to submit a vote by mail application for the Town Election is Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at 5 pm
The last day to register to vote is Saturday, March 28, 2026.

Be sure to neatly and completely fill in the oval next to the candidate or write-in candidate or the voting machine may not be able to read the results.
Write-in Votes for candidates already printed on the ballot will be counted as blanks.
If a voter votes for both “no preference" AND a candidate on the ballot it is considered an overvote and therefore counted as a blank.
