Why I am Running

Canton is at a crossroads where the decisions we make
today will define our community’s quality of life for the
next twenty years. I am running for Select Board to evolve
our approach to town governance. My goal is to move
past "reactive" decision-making and establish a standard
of professional, data-driven leadership that delivers the
high-quality results our residents deserve.

Background & Qualifications

I have been a resident of Canton for 25 years, where my
wife and I raised our two daughters. My commitment to
public service is rooted in our community, from coaching
Canton Youth Soccer to my current roles on the Capital Planning Committee, the Economic Development Committee, and the Sustainability & Climate Action Plan Committee. I also represent Capital Planning on the Building Renovation Committee.

Professionally, I bring nearly four decades of experience in Information Technology and Service Management across financial institutions, higher education, and state government. Since 2019, I have served as a Service Delivery Consultant for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. This experience gives me a unique vantage point on how Canton can effectively navigate state processes to secure funding and support for our local infrastructure. I hold a BS from Bentley University and an MBA from Northeastern University.

Vision for Canton

My platform is built on the Canton Nexus—a strategic framework that synchronizes our town’s infrastructure, finances, and long-term planning. By breaking down departmental silos, we can eliminate the “Silo Tax”—the hidden costs and inefficiencies created when town departments operate in isolation. My priorities include:

-
Modernizing Infrastructure: Moving toward lifecycle management to prevent costly, reactive repairs.
-
Economic Growth: Responsibly managing development through proactive zoning to protect our residential character.
-
Climate Strategy: Advancing environmental strategies that unlock state grants to protect both our environment and our taxpayers.
I believe in strong governance and clear accountability, which is why I supported the independent audit of the Police Department and helped define the strategy to select our next Police Chief. I am ready to apply my experience in managing complex projects and data analysis to ensure a collaborative and strategically-driven future for all of Canton.

I respectfully ask for your vote on April 7th.
